12 years of public consultation on the environment through OpenGov: Citizen participation and the opinion of young people

On the occasion of the completion of the project “Learn-Participate-Protect the Environment“, iSea and Green Tank invite you to a Press Conference to present the results of the project and the new report “12 years of public consultation on the environment through OpenGov: Citizen participation and the opinion of young people“.

In the context of the “Learn-Participate-Protect the environment” project, iSea and Green Tank, promote, strengthen and shield the participation of citizens in processes related to the creation and implementation of environmental policies in Greece, with emphasis on climate crisis, biodiversity loss and plastic pollution, since 2021.

For this purpose, the new report was also created that evaluates the public consultations on the environment through OpenGov.gr during the period 2012-2024 and the focused research on the participation of young people (17-34 years old) in them was conducted. The public opinion survey was prepared in collaboration with the qed research institute.

The event will take place on Monday 29th April, 15.00-17.00.
