Description
Six training workshops of fishers were conducted on the existing legal framework for protected species, their proper identification and best handling and releasing techniques together with the pilot modifications in fishing vessels for the safe release of such species and the reduction of their post release mortality.
In addition, two training of monitoring authorities on the proper identification of protected shark and ray species were organized.
