iSea completed with success the coastal and underwater beach clean up in Lagomandra, Sithonia with the support of Lagomandra Beach Hotel and Lagomandra Beach Hotel.

The volunteers splitted in two groups for the beach clean-up. In total 5 bags of marine litter collected with cigarette butts being the most common litter in the beach (600 butts in a 100 m beach) and cans in the underwater clean- up.  For the first time iSea used the registration form of Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR), inaugurating a new collaboration for the management of the data collected from the clean-ups.
