ISea, in the framework of the “Home sweet…beach, keep it clean!!!” program, has organized more than 15 cleanups in various places of Greece. An important part of the effort was conducted within the limits of the Axios Delta National Park. The high amount of litter totally collected was particularly worrying as it was exceeding 100 kg in 100m. Taking into consideration our responsibility in protecting this particular ecosystem and with the support of the Management Authority of the Axios Delta National Park, iSea has created the Action Results Report of the program “Home sweet… beach, keep it clean!!!”  on the Axios Delta. The report analyzes data on collected waste, its sources and short and long term solutions to the problem within the boundaries of the National Park.

This was the first step together with the Management Body for funding targeted actions and organized settlement of the problem within the Axios Delta National Park, an area of particular natural wealth and high environmental value.
