Realizing the importance of the Ambracian Gulf as one of the few megafauna sanctuaries in Greece, agencies operating in the area came together with the aim of contributing to the effective management of the National Wetlands Park of the Ambracian Gulf, and facilitating the work of the competent Management Unit and creating a long-term partnership between different stakeholders operating in the region.
