Invitation to webinar on the Pen shells & the Mediterranean Cushion Coral in Greece

In the context of obSERVING NATURE project, iSea, in collaboration with the Hellenic Federation of Recreational Fishing Associations and iNaturalist, invites you to the webinar on: “Pen shells and the Mediterranean Cushion Coral in Greece”.

The webinar aims to inform and encourage recreational underwater fishers to contribute to the conservation of the protected species of Pen shells, Pinna nobilis and Pinna rudis, and the Mediterranean Cushion Coral, Cladocora caespitosa, in Greece.

The webinar will take place on Wednesday, March 22nd, from 18:00 to 19:30, online.

The obSERVING NATURE project is part of the initiative for the conservation of iconic Mediterranean species in Greece through the alliance of 14 environmental organizations. The initiative aims to create an alliance with a significant impact on biodiversity, providing immediate benefits for species conservation and long-term survival of some of the most charismatic and ecologically important species in our country.
