Truva Shelf is situated in the North Aegean Sea off the Thracian Sea and borders Greece and Turkey.

The area includes Gokçeada and Lemnos Islands and is connected to the mainland by the Canakkale Strait, the opening of the Black Sea to the Mediterranean.
