In the context of the survey, a total of 1,157 from primary schools of 25 Greek cities were collected and analysed, in order to study the students’ knowledge and attitudes towards dolphins and whales.
Based on the analysis and the gaps of knowledge detected, this work provides information for expanding the topics of environmental education curricula and for future public awareness projects. This work was funded by Tethys Research Institute with the support of OceanCare and RAC/SPA. We would also like to thank WWF Greece for helping us in Athens and Crete.
