
The first informative event of the project was implemented back at 2019 in Santorini Island. Since then, 25 informative events have been held throughout Greece and more than 9.500 fishers, chefs, restaurateurs and citizens participated. The events were implemented in Thessaloniki, Athens, Corfu, Kefalonia, Zante, Lefkada, Paxoi, Rhodes, Kos, Santorini, Amorgos, Paros, Naxos, Nafplio, Spetses, Hydra, Crete and also online with the participation of citizens from all over Greece.





The goal of the informative events was to raise awareness to the local community and the tourists in the regions that the project was held, regarding alien species, their impacts to the environment, economy and human health, ways to mitigate those impacts and the promotion of responsible seafood consumption.
