Σε μία ακόμη προσπάθεια ενημέρωσης των αρμόδιών φορέων, η iSea απέστειλε επίσημη επιστολή στο Υπουργείο Αγροτικής Ανάπτυξης και Τροφίμων με στόχο την άμεση τροποποίηση του Οδηγού Αναγνώρισης Καρχαριών λόγω ελλείψεων στα είδη που βρίσκονται υπο καθεστώς προστασίας.
H παρούσα επιστολή έρχεται να προστεθεί σε δύο προηγούμενες ανακοινώσεις της iSea σχετικά με τα συνεχιζόμενα ατυχή περιστατικά αλίευσης εμπορίας και διακίνησης προστατευόμενων ειδών καρχαριών στην Ελλάδα.

Ημέρα Ανθεκτικότητας της πόλης χθες, και η iSea βρέθηκε εκεί ύστερα από πρόσκληση του Γραφείου Αστική Ανθεκτικότητας του Δήμου Θεσσαλονίκης. Μέσα από δράσεις επαναχρησιμοποίησης πλαστικών για μεγάλους και για παιδιά προσπαθήσαμε να περάσουμε το μήνυμα της μείωσης των πλαστικών μιας χρήσης!!!

Tην Τρίτη 6 Ιουνίου βρεθήκαμε στο Δημοτικό Σχολείο Περάματος, Ιωαννίνων. Με τους μικρούς μας φίλους είχαμε τον χρόνο να γνωριστούμε και να μοιραστούμε τις γνώσεις μας σχετικά με τους μεγάλους θηρευτές των ελληνικών θαλασσών, τη σημαντικότητά τους για τα θαλάσσια οικοσυστήματα, τις απειλές που αντιμετωπίζουν και το πώς μπορούμε εμείς να τους προστατέψουμε. In the framework of the World Environment Day, on Monday 5/6, we carried out a coastal and underwater cleaning along with the Ocean Diving Center on the coast of Lagomandra, in Sithonia.
A total of 10 reusable bags were gathered and about 20 volunteers participated, including members of the Ocean Diving Center, iSea and employees of Lagomandra Beach Hotels. The World Environment Day, on June 5, celebrates its 45th anniversary! The day was instituted in 1972 by the United Nations and this year is dedicated to “connecting people to nature”. The World Environment Day aims to raise public awareness and to inform citizens, businesses, public bodies and those who are in any way connected to the natural environment about the immediate need to protect our planet. The coastal cleanup of Karambournaki in Thessaloniki was successfully completed on Thursday 25th of May at 9:30 am.
The coastal cleanup was an initiative of the volunteer citizen group “My City, Me !! I make it beautiful. AND MY LIFE! “, with the participation of iSea, PROTEKTA Stavroupolis-Pavlos Mela-Kordelio-Evosmos, Epomea Pilea-Chortiatis, Armenizo sailing for people with disabilities in NTH, 1st Primary School of Kalamaria and the support of Municipality of Kalamaria and the Municipality of Thessaloniki.
