iSea, together with the Hellenic Ornithological Society and the Blue Marine Foundation, submitted their comments to the public consultation for the South Aegean National Marine Park.
A new incident of illegal fishing, trade, and display of a strictly protected shark species has come to light through a video circulating on social media, originating from Bakalis Restaurant in Pefkochori, Halkidiki. The video depicts the species Alopias superciliosus (Bigeye Thresher Shark), a species whose fishing, is strictly prohibited.
At the initiative of iSea, and within the framework of the Amvrakikos Alliance, 16 entities joined forces to submit coordinated proposals aimed at improving the management of the Natura 2000 protected areas in Amvrakikos Wetlands National Park.

Demonstrating our firm belief in the value of collaboration and our commitment to working closely with local communities for the effective protection of the natural environment, we have submitted our common proposals for the Special Environmental Study (SES) 7B: Natura 2000 areas of the Attica Region and the North Aegean Region.
